Here are some fonts types that are used in Atari platform

Signum!2

Signum!2 is a bitmapped font format and supported by many wordprocessors and some drawing packages.

Signum!3

Signum!3 also a bitmapped font format and supported by many wordprocessors and some drawing packages. It is the new generation derived from Signum!2

Calamus

Calamus font is widely use in Atari platform as many of applications support it, such as Calamus DTP and Digital Art's (DA's) softwares It has the suffix .CFN
