Please read the Assignment information carefully.
These are executable X programs. To run it, your system must be running X and the server control is set to xhost www.cs.curtin.edu.au. Also they will not work if you are using a proxy server or you are running your browser on a machine different from the one you are displaying it on.
Some of the programs will produce textual output to stdout or stderr - this is captured by an xterm screen. It should give you a fairly good idea as to what the widget looks like and how it works. The alternative would be for you to grab the source code (via ) and compile it on your machine.
