Computer Graphics 252-502 Tutorials
Those accessing these files NOT at the Curtin University can do so at their
own risk :?).
That is, the directions given in the tutorials are useful
in our environment, your mileage may vary. Understand the concepts involved,
look at these files and happy learning.
Setting up your area
I suggest that you
- create a subdirectory in your home area called (typically) cg252-502
cd $HOME; mkdir cg252-502;
- that you retrieve the tuteall.tar.Z and store it in that directory.
You may grab the tuteall.tar.Z simply by clicking on it and then storing it
via the file selection box in the appropriate place.
- Move to that directory and uncompress the file if still necessary (some
browsers will uncompress on the fly if the file has a .Z extension).
uncompress tuteall.tar.Z
- Untar the file to extract the entire tutorials hierarchy.
tar xvf tuteall.tar
- Tidy up by removing the tar file
rm tuteall.tar
- You may now use the cg252-502 sub-directory to do all you work in.
