EXAMPLE x -- evaluates the string or list of strings
x as Macaulay 2 code, inserting the results in
hypertext preformatted PRE items.
The evaluation is done by the Makefile at a separate time, and the
results are left where they can be found the next time the same
EXAMPLE is encountered.
